Fri, July 13 IAAF Golden Gala T&F Meet

Walk from B&B over to the Coliseum and through the Forum. Huge loop through town stopping at sites, caffes, sandwich shops.

• Train and bus over to the Rome Golden Gala Track and Field meet.
  
• 3 hours watching some of the world's best.

• Nick Simmonds got a nice introduction to world class competition. Didn't respond the the pace after 400 meters and couldn't kick with the big boys as the pace was too slow early on and everybody had legs at the end.

Home by 2am, with 9 miles of walking and 5 hours sleep. But everybodies holding up
